Publication Ethics

World of Science is committed to scholarly integrity. The journal takes the COPE guidelines into account as guidance; this does not imply COPE membership.

Authors

  • Confirm that the work is original and not under consideration elsewhere;
  • authorship is limited to those who made a substantial scientific contribution, reviewed the text and approved the final version — all co-authors must know about the submission;
  • report results, measurements and calculations truthfully; fabrication and falsification of data are prohibited;
  • cite every source and obtain permission for reused material where required;
  • disclose funding, conflicts of interest, ethical approvals and any use of artificial-intelligence tools;
  • notify the editors immediately about serious errors found after publication.

Plagiarism and duplicate publication

Plagiarism — appropriating another person’s text, ideas, data or results without citation — and unjustified republication of one’s own earlier work are unacceptable. Manuscripts are screened by the editors and, where needed, with text-similarity software. A similarity percentage alone does not prove or disprove plagiarism; every case is assessed on its merits.

Editors and reviewers

  • Decisions rest on scientific quality, relevance and methodological soundness — never on the personal characteristics of authors;
  • manuscripts are kept confidential; conflicts of interest are declared and managed;
  • reviewers may not use unpublished material for personal purposes.
